Overview

Kaart Marketing LLC dba Mess ("Mess," "we," "us") operates thisismess.com. This policy describes what data we collect when you visit our site, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our site. PostHog collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, and general location (country/city level). No personally identifiable information is collected through PostHog.

Visitor identification. We use Nutshell Analytics (provided by WebFX, which loads a script from marketingcloudfx.com) to understand which organizations visit our site. It records pages viewed, referring source, and campaign parameters, and uses your IP address together with third-party data providers to estimate the company you are browsing from. This information is added to our CRM. It is aimed at identifying companies rather than individuals, but it is not anonymous, and it may be combined with your details if you later contact us. We honor browser Do Not Track and opt-out signals.

Contact form. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, company or project name, and message. This information is stored in our CRM (Nutshell) and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Scheduling. If you book a call via our Calendly embed, Calendly's own privacy policy governs that data.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to respond to inquiries, improve the site experience, and understand how our work is received. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

PostHog sets a first-party cookie to distinguish unique visitors. Nutshell Analytics sets its own first-party cookie and uses browser storage to recognize return visits and attribute them to a source. We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
